2023 RSM Classic tee times: Round 4 groupings for Sunday 

One is a thunder-and-lightning driving, ball-pounding, 6-foot-3, 210-pound, 24-year-old phenom.  

The other is a hustling, grinding, precision-hitting, 5-foot-9, 155-pound, 35-year-old mini-tour legend. 

And together, Ludvig Aberg (first-paragraph dude) and Eric Cole (second-paragraph dude) are your top two players through 54 holes at the RSM Classic, with Aberg leading Cole by a shot heading into Sunday’s final round at Sea Island Golf Club. They’re also part of the final grouping, along with Mackenzie Hughes. But, as you can see, the similarities mostly end there. 

Mostly. 

Both are seeking PGA Tour win No. 1. Both are saying the moment won’t be too big for them. 

Said Aberg on Friday: “Obviously there’s a lot of — it’s nervous, it’s nerve wracking, but it’s something that you want to do and something that I’ve been wanting to do for a very long time. You know, fortunate for me I’ve had a few of those experiences now and hopefully I’ll be able to keep doing that and kind of learn from them and see where that takes me.”

Said Cole on Friday: “Any chance I get to compete on the PGA Tour is something that I’m thankful and grateful for. It’s also exciting to play in a PGA Tour event.”
