FIRST LOOK: Wilson Dynapower is back with new metal woods and irons
Wilson Golf
Wilson has a long history of innovations in golf. From the original R90 sand wedge to the modern-day Staff forged irons, their legacy has been built on offering premium performance products.
Now 70 years after its initial introduction, Wilson is re-launching one of its more storied brands — Dynapower — with a line of metal woods and irons designed to provide power, distance and forgiveness for golfers of all skill levels.
“Dynapower changed the game of golf seven decades ago and it’s time for Wilson to do it again,” said Tim Clarke, the president of Wilson Golf. “These powerful irons and adjustable drivers are built with our legendary history in mind as we continue to innovate and deliver top-of-the-line products that raise the confidence of golfers at all skill levels. Our technology is second-to-none and we’re extremely proud of this new line of Dynapower products.”
Wilson Dynapower history
The original Dynapower golf clubs were introduced in 1956 with a set of irons that featured a unique bore-through design that removed unnecessary weight from the bottom of the hosel and positioned it behind the hitting area and towards the toe of the blade for improved forgiveness. In a time when your options for irons included either blades or other blades, this design was a revolution.
Dynapower irons
The all-new 2023 Dynapower irons build on the original weighting-shifting concept to redefine distance by pulling mass away from the heel side of the club toward the toe where most amateurs tend to miss with their irons. By using an exclusive A.I. modeling platform, Wilson engineers went through thousands of variations of variable face thickness designs for the cavity of the iron to optimize the iron faces through the set and offer optimal performance in every club.
All of this is packed into a player-preferred head shape to pair high MOI with a pleasing appearance from address.
Availability
The 2023 Dynapower irons are available in right- and left-handed and are priced at $799 in steel and $899 in graphite.

Drivers
The new Dynapower adjustable drivers are offered in two distinct models: the Carbon and the Titanium to help golfers tune into their ideal shot shape off the tee.
Both drivers are equipped with Wilson’s PKR2 dynamic face which has been optimized to deliver fast ball speeds, and a new six-way adjustable hosel to allow fitters and golfers the opportunity to change launch and spin with a few clicks of a wrench.
The Carbon model is a low-spin neutrally biased club designed for tour-level performance. It features carbon panels on the crown and sole of the driver to lower the center of gravity and provide maximum workability.

The Titanium model is a mid to lower-spin draw bias head built into the same tour-style head profile. The all-Titanium construction also has a heavier back weight to increase launch and raise MOI.
The Carbon driver is priced at $499.99 while the Titanium model is $429.99.
Fairway woods
The Wilson Dynapower fairway woods are designed to combine a tour-inspired shape with a shallow head profile for easy launch and a clean look from address.
Much like the drivers, the fairway woods feature a concentrated rear weight to raise the MOI and offer extra stability of shots hit around the face, along with a variable face thickness to improve ball speeds on shots missed around the face.
The Dynapower fairway woods are priced at $249.99 each.

Hybrids
To complete the line, the Wilson Dynapower hybrids combine a tour-inspired shaping with a shallow head profile for easy launch and alignment at address. The lower head profile helps maintain a low center of gravity, and when paired with the variable face thickness creates an easy-to-launch club from virtually any lie.
The Dynapower hybrids are priced at $219.99 each.
Wilson Dynapower Hybrids
Wilson’s entire Dynapower line of clubs will be available for pre-sale at Wilson.com starting Feb. 22 and will be in retail stores beginning March 1.
