Rickie Fowler (30-1)
What a difference a year makes. At the 2022 St. Jude, Fowler closed with a quintuple-bogey 9 on his final hole, a bottom-scraping moment for a popular star suffering through a drawn-out and dispiriting tailspin. That was then. Under the guidance of Butch Harmon, Fowler has engineered a remarkable rebound this season, notching a win and eight top 10s while vaulting into the top 10 in the FedEx standings. Scheffler, Rahm and McIlroy are favored for a reason. But we’re looking for value, and this is a good number for one of 2023’s most reliable performers.
Wyndham Clark (35-1)

Once regarded as a wildly talented underachiever, Clark has more than made good on his promise this year, with two wins, a major title and only three missed cuts in 25 tries. A late bloomer? Maybe — but only by today’s precocious PGA Tour standards. By most other measures, the 29-year-old reigning U.S. Open champ is a world-beating talent, just entering his prime.
Sepp Straka (45-1)
After a win at the John Deere and a T2 at the Open Championship, Straka was on a red-hot roll entering last week’s 3M Open where he missed the cut. Golf’s a fickle game. And Straka is a hard-to-figure, feast-or-famine player. At this relatively robust number, we’re willing to risk some greenbacks that Straka will be back in feast mode this week.
